How a new head-guard could be vital in rugby's fight against concussion

A new head-guard could significantly reduce the numbers affected from what is the biggest challenge facing the sport.

The makers of the N-Pro head-guard claim their product can reduce the energy transferred to the brain in collisions by up to 75 per cent thanks to a multi-layered technology that is both medically approved and backed by World Rugby.

The full story is available at The Telegraph.

Since the publication of this story, World Rugby have issued a statement noting that the N-Pro head guard "may not be used at any level of the game as the product has not yet been independently and rigorously trialled or tested in a competition environment".
