NZ Rugby is launching a new strategy to tackle concussion, with referees set to issue blue cards during games to players who they suspect are concussed.
In a crack down on concussion, the blue card initiative is being introduced across all adult rugby games in its 14 largest provincial unions.
Referees who suspect a player has been concussed during a game will issue a blue card.
