NFLPA sends concussion education video to all players

As part of the preparation for the 2016 season, the NFLPA has sent all players an educational video about concussions.


The video, made in conjunction with the American Academy of Neurology, explains what happens to the brain when someone suffers a concussion, describes symptoms that can be related to concussions and outlines the protocols that have been put in place regarding the reporting of potential concussions. That also focuses on a player’s role in letting medical personnel know if they may have suffered a brain injury.
